Not that it matters at all. But, just for the record, my first happy place. Leland, Michigan. Air temp -12. My nephew & his now wife. February 2020.
Sent from my sister-in-law in the gc. Nobody younger than 50 got the joke. 😁
"Industry plants" Sure, buddy. 'Cause this shi was the bedrock of a top-tier media campaign. 🤣
Saw so much this growing wild, especially along the side of the road. This is Giant Hogweed. AKA Cow Parsnip, or Wild Rhubarb. Flowers in early summer, and in appearance looks similar to Queen Anne's Lace *Approach with caution*. The sap is highly toxic, leading to blisters and possible scarring.
Admittedly, I did come all the way out here to unplug. That was voluntary. *Total* disruption of cell services? This is not normal. Had to drive over 100 miles to get any signal at all. And the company is not...forthcoming in re est time for repairs. Thanks, @Verizon. 🙄
Ok, this is funny. A cousin over in the UK commented on a post I made about this trip. Along the lines of everything in Britain is better. Specifically mentioned the PCH, which is not relevant to this trip I give you example #5097 of a 55mph "road" in Wiltshire. 🤣
