This part is a relief. I really hope it stays that way. Nothing would be worse than one faction hurting the other and letting Republicans take advantage, which Trump is trying hard to do with his "communist" smear. bsky.app/profile/evie...
Oh, I get it ... This must be like that 2% of GDP NATO members were supposed to spend on defense and which he thought was payable to the US like a protection racket. If you start to think like him, painful as it may be, everything makes sense.
Rutte is probably not even aware that Trump thought NATO was a protection racket whose members paid the US for protection. He said so himself as far back as the 2016 presidential debate and he still like he still believes it to be true. He twisted the 2% of GDP to fit his convoluted reality.
I don't consider if a win for Dems but for all Americans. It's not as if only Dems benefit from mail-in ballots or as if Republicans won't take advantage.
How the hell do Republicans get their propaganda printed in bold headlines like this?
So am I to understand Trump didn't discuss Lebanon with Netanyahu before embarking on the Iran War together? How oblivious can he be?!?
London's Murdoch paper: Trump has admitted defeat on Iran war after historic blunder. Are Fox News and WSJ still clinging to fantasy? news.sky.com/story/trumps...
I have never heard a federal judge ask for "guarantees" from DoJ not even during Watergate. DoJ's credibility has sunk into oblivion. If judges can't trust the Trump administration, why should voters? Fox News is taking this administration down with them. www.cnbc.com/2026/06/12/t...
John Cornyn, placing a "for sale" sign on his forehead: “I’ve always said that former senators look happier, healthier, and they’re certainly more prosperous. So, I’m kind of, like, looking forward to what comes next.” www.nytimes.com/2026/06/11/u...
"The agreement to withdraw U.S. troops was actually signed in February 2020 by the Trump administration and the Taliban in Doha, Qatar. This U.S.-Taliban Peace Deal outlined the phased withdrawal of all foreign troops. The final withdrawal was executed by the Biden administration in August 2021."
I've always said all Trump wanted to be was a "kingmaker" with no responsibilities. He probably never imagined Republicans would make it this easy.
So Trump is now listening to Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates but not to the American people. Good to know. You've come a long way from 9/11 and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars where score of US and NATO soldiers died, America! www.nytimes.com/2026/05/18/u...
The New York Times is still trying to sane-wash Trump's tariff extortion attempts that he has been issuing with direct and explicit quid-pro-quo demands that have nothing to do with the US economy. Even a trade court ruling against him will not persuade NYT. www.nytimes.com/2026/05/07/b...
