My husband got the Edinburgh-London overnight train last night. Left on time at 11.40 pm, they sat at Carstairs for FIVE HOURS because of the line ahead being shut, then returned to Edinburgh. He's now on the 7 AM to Kings X, having had little sleep, and will miss one of his appointments.
