I always underestimate how much I care about character based internet reviewers until I’m actually tearing up hearing Kyle Justin sing the AVGN intro again
Link has talked since Zelda 2. Just because you don’t hear it doesn’t mean he doesn’t talk. There are several moments in the games where NPC’s respond to things link says.
I played the demo of forbidden solitaire awhile ago and it was really fun, so excited to play the full release!
#YIAYmovie I hope I’m not too late. This is in my top 5 films ever made.
Within 2 minutes of adding him to my Tomodachi Life island, James Rolfe befriended Doug Walker Doomed Yaoi
My favorite line in this script I just finished for “Upcoming Slenderverse Project” I’m in love with the script I wrote, it’s the first time I felt truly disturbed writing something
I really enjoyed that temple, it might be my favorite of the game. I did use a walkthrough BUT I feel like I wouldn’t have needed it other than for the secrets. The Iron Knuckle was a really cool enemy and really fun to fight, Twinrosa as well was surprisingly easy. A really great dungeon all around
March 15th I got high and with my roommate decided to give the game another shot After *alot* of error, I was able to beat the temple, and that clicked my determination to beat the whole thing
Anyway, I got up to the forest temple, and despite looking at a walkthrough, I couldn’t get far that night, so I decided to put it down and pick it up later …then months passed… …and then I moved… …and then I decided to give it a shot last week
Jabbu Jabbu’s Belly I still really hate this dungeon. I got through it, but I still think it’s the worst part of the game (maybe tied with the fire temple)
I started playing this October of last year, but ended up getting stuck at the forest temple and turning it off for months, I only recently picked it back up The early game was a lot of fun, because it’s the bit I’m most experienced with, not much trouble…until…
The next game on my list, and the one I’ve been chipping away at for awhile, is “Ocarina of Time” As a kid, I watched my Grandfather play this on the Wii, while also having an N64 where I’d play it myself, though like Links awakening, I never got far (Jabbu Jabbu’s Belly <<<)
Plus don’t even get me STARTED on the final fight because I died so, so many times it wasn’t even funny. But once I landed the final blow? I felt so satisfied; that this game instantly became one of my favorites 9.5/10
Though, that being said, I found the game really difficult at times, and for this game (and every game otherwise) I relied heavy on walkthroughs, because without them I kept doing stuff like-
This game is so, so charming. The humor, the action, the art direction, every bit of this game oozes with love and creativity, I had an absolute blast beating it Below are messages I was sending to a discord as I was playing
Gonna kick this thread off by talking about the first Zelda game I beat: Link’s Awakening! While I used to play this game with the DX version on GBC (3DS Virtual Console) I beat this game via the switch edition
Gonna make a “Mega Thread” that will last awhile, because fun fact: until November of last year, I never beat a single Zelda game! The first one I beat was “Links Awakening” and recently the hyperfixation has come up again. So, this thread is to review and talk about beating them all!
Having a cat sleep next to you for the first time in your life is a transcendent experience Though I do want to put the sheets on my bed
Currently in the process of moving out of my mom’s house, and decided to make a small little video going through my comic collection, it’s gonna be up on Friday on the Iris Prindel channel. ‘Twas a fun little gime
