I had a joyous 12 minutes of "I don't see why people say that sewing bowties is difficult, sure, the seam allowances are tight but I can always handsew." And then I had to turn four layers of self fabric inside out through a 1/2" tube and ow ow ow my hands hurt and I fucked up a crochet hook ow.

I'm new to Laines du Nord, but if their Summer Sock is as fun to wear as it is to knit, I'm definitely coming back to it. 🧶

My partner made a "salad" from the midcentury "church basement" cookbook we got from our Buddhist temple. It's layers of strawberries, jello, cream cheese, cool whip, and a crushed pretzel crust. Great with onigiri.
