Two fantasy characters from baldurs gate 3, shadowheart a half elf, and Lae’zel a Githyanki sit back to back holding hands in a dark moody scene. Shadowheart is knelt in the dark gloom of the shadowfel knelt on the dark circle of the symbol of shar, grasping shar’s spear, chains and dark clouds swirling around her. Moonlight pierces the dark and shines down on her face pulling her gaze up. Laezel sits at her back in the astral plane, holding her large Githyanki silver sword in the other hand, the tip coated in blood. She looks back at shadowheart, her face turned to glance over her shoulder. Ahead of her in the astral plane there are two dragons flying amongst asteroids chasing a comet.

Just a few of the #sapphic #bookcovers I've had the pleasure of doing.

a collection of illustrations of sapphic book covers by rachel george, there are six covers arranged in two rows, three over three. The first is 'The Blood Bride' featuring two elven women, the second is the cover of 'The road to kalazahd' featuring a lady centaur with her human girlfriend on her back running from an angry crowd, the third is 'sunkissed feathers and severed ties' featuring a winged red fox sleeping in a highly stilized forest.
The fourth, the same characters from the second stood infront of a spooky blue forest posing infront of a sign, and the title 'Villains', the 5th the two main women from 'Helen Highwater' in an action pose running towards the viewer and the sixth, 'Fatal Spores and Fiery Paths' featuring the purple skinned purple haired main character wielding nature magik in a twisting forest scene.

Hello Hello! I'm Rachel, I'm a fantasy and Sci-fantasy artist, I work mostly in publishing and tabletop. :D

Props commissioned for a dnd campaign. Ancient elven circlets. The first is the combination of all the circlets together. It is blue metal with black feathers and what looks like a black feathered beak in the center. Decorative chains loop from the sides to the beak to accentuate the eye placement of the wearer. The colours of every seasonal circlets stone is featured in this circlet. The second is a summer circlet. Thin and with twisted bright metal work. A golden sun is the center piece and is framed by looping vines of Mythril. The autumn circlet is. Made of possibly wood braided into a circlet. Pink leaves sprout from it, and golden wheat cherries are set in the gaps the switsts make. There are four red eyes set into the circlet. These are the eyes of the forest. The spring circlet is the most delicate and dainty. Featuring snow drops twisting around the wooden and golden set circlet. A snowdrop is the center piece and is framed by arching thin golden decorative leaf motifs.

for #alttext i've been slowly making a document where i copy and paste descriptions i've made, makes it way easier to keep consistent with alt text descriptions once i've done it once!

Some of my covers I've illustrated & designed for #queer and #sapphic books 🌈📚

Two elven women in a sensual embrace, the elf at the back has periwinkle skin, white long hair twisted into a crown on her head, and blue eyes. She wears an elegant and sensual outfit made from a deep red wrap style dress. Her shoulders exposed with the fabric draping at her upper forearm into a long sleeve. It wraps in a cross over her body, behind the neck then dipping to cross lower across her waist. Her toned stomach is visible. she grasp the wrist of the woman infront of her who's right hand is reached back to cup her cheek. The woman in front has warm brown skin, her hair is in neat braided rows,that sweap around onto her shoulders. Along some of the hanging braids there are golden beads. And a golden bead at the bottom of every braid. She is dressed in a cream poet's shirt, golden fur of an animal is draped over her shoulders. She wears high waisted men's style trousers with six buttons down the front. She holds a magical dagger in her left hand, her focus is on the dagger and she seems almost captivated by it. Red magic swirls from the gem stone set into the daggers guard. They are framed by twisting black arms of disturbing shaped thorny branches. Reaching towards them. Their backdrop is filled with curling black thorns. In the center, behind them, there is a large impressive black tree, branching out along the top of the cover. In the center of the trees high branches is a bright red pumping heart, there are branches growing through the heart. The title says "The Blood Bride" in strong bold red type. The author name at the bottom "Rae D Magdon"

Hello! I'd love to be included. I'm Rachel (She/Her/They/Them) I'm a fantasy and fantasyscifi artist, i work a lot in sapphic and queer publishing. In my spare time I'm drawing sapphics as much as my shitty wrists will let me. Here's some of my work!
