The back story to my Mexican pink dreams...there are 2 classic volumes that are huge&pink. You can spot them from a mile away. But most books on Mexico are black/dark red/red color schemes. I wanted mine to stand out, like these books do!
Oh tough one! I think it depends so much on the book... Even when my book was a dissertation, I was thinking about the cover. I wanted a specific shade of pink (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexican...). That didn't happen, but I did get the image I wanted! & I like the cream/aqua the designer chose.
