👋 i'm a moth who likes to make cool stuff forever ✨ she/they 🔼 now: HEXA on STEAM! 🃏 next: solitaire, on your playdate! 🌀 later: who knows?! 🌿 plus: project pesto!! 🪐
hello! i'm in this nice steam bundle featuring a whole bunch of #playdate games who've jumped to PC! featuring: • HEXA • blippo+ • office chair curling • suborbital salvage • ratcheteer DX 10% off, and you can "complete the set" if you already own some of it: store.steampowered.com/bundle/74997...
fwiw i believe the new disclosure options do account for games atleast onboarded before the new rules. in the example from t' catalog server the line on the affirmative checkbox is "Generative AI was used to create game code.", but in my asset pages it's "Generative AI was used to create this game."
presenting my 2:30a special: assorted gifs, set to the rhythm heaven groove prologue tracks
got a little music track in for the klondike; just a short loop but i'm happy that it can react to the scene you're currently in (maybe i figure out how to engineer a little crossfade? am i smart enough to do that?)
one cool feature in my klondike: i made it stupid easy to add new designs for the cards (front/back), and the cursor. (+ the BG colors are adjustable) i plan to add custom import, & i've also been receiving some wonderful guest artist decks! here's an amazing 'dock of cods' from @toadley.bsky.social
bro i'm watching your stream rn why are you trying not to laugh that's disrespectful as shit
now presenting, the most satisfying thing you've ever seen. (working on adding in comfort features like auto-complete, quick-pick, and cranking to make 'obvious moves')
i love doing the small stuff. busted out my own deck of cards to do these sound FX and they sound absolutely primo
decided to start making myself a little klondike solitaire for playdate. i realize i'm not treading new ground here but i thought it would be a fun experiment (and also i love solitaire)
on sale for #playdate: rowbot rally is an experimental top-down racing game that uses the crank in a unique way. features: • hand-animated cutscenes • on-line leaderboards! • made with love (and no robots :P) • winner of two PD community awards! it's 33% off; just $10 ('til 06.30): play.date/g/rbr

making machines is especially tough around this time of year [commission for @diegosauce.bsky.social]
WAAAAUGH THAT'S SO COOL!! this is scratching my "marlboro atari lynx" itch so hard /pos (miss you arisaaa 🥹)
YAAAAAHOO!! thank you paul straw thank you @danielwsimon.com thank you @bechamel-test.bsky.social thank you @toadley.bsky.social thank you everybody who put on the awards show this year; still so cool to see it all happen. and thank you (hi!) for playing and liking my games. here's to next year! 💖
🌀 working on mode select/tutorial menus. i've been using procreate dreams for some more dynamic animations (like the logo in the title screen from before, and the projector backdrop in this one). i love that it lets me export dithered GIFs with no extra tooling! also, mouse girl required. obvs. 🐁
it wouldn't be a rae title if i was already working on branding assets and menus waaay earlier than i should be
at one point i messed up the rotation parameters and accidentally made that one devkit startup sequence
new loose prototype. the goal is for 1-dimensional ... suika-like ... zuma-pool? shrug??? i'm on a spirals kick.
