The trick is using two rings: one solid, one broken. Although for advanced autonomous systems you might need a ring of traffic cones. 😁

It's said that working with ropes, not words, is the craft which truly enables a civilisation.

It's also said that the one who first taught that craft was punished by God, but there are apocrypha that use the word 'betrayed' instead of 'punished'.

Nathan and those he commands have been killing or capturing servants of evil for many years. One he's overlooked is closer than he suspects, just waiting for an opportunity.

Lorryn thought she was done with Jack. Now something she made a desperate pact with threatens to get him killed - or worse. She's got to work fast, especially with Nathan and his fanatics after her.

Jack's fascinated with something he discovered at the scene of a slaughter. So much so, he's started dreaming about it. Lorryn says it's dangerous. He doesn't care.

There are many angels. Only one chose to stay instead of falling. Originally, it wanted understanding. Now it'll settle for revenge.

You know who Empire loves most?

Spiritual people who never get angry.

The ones who respond to every injustice with "everything happens for a reason." The ones who meet ecological collapse with a gratitude journal. The ones who call boundaries "low vibration" and rage "unhealed."

Empire loves a meditator who won't march. A healer who won't speak. A mystic too "above it all" to name what's happening on the ground.

That's not enlightenment. That's obedience with some beautiful feathers and crystal cover-up...

The old medicine people weren't peaceful because they avoided conflict. They were peaceful because they knew exactly what they were willing to fight for - the children, the mothers, the water, the soil, the songs, the fire.

If our spirituality doesn't make us dangerous to systems that harm life, it's not spirituality. It's anesthesia.
