After looking at this lad finally finished I'm really eager to get the Armageddon box built to start painting the rest of the force in the same scheme, probably going to lean further into the pinks and teals and cut some of the blue a bit though.

First game of 11th last night using assimilation swarm against imperial guard. Haruspex and Lash Whip Prime + hormagaunts were the MVP and my opponent underestimated their damage output even after a warning, letting me get off a massive turn 2 charge that was followed by SitW 81-50 🥳🥳🥳

Working on a mini for a group lil painting event that I've joined and I'm adoring this soft synthwave/cyberpunk aesthetic on Orks now, i want the armageddon box immediately.

Having a lil holiday up to our new town and dropped into the LGS to check out the scene and introduce myself and already got some good plans for a painting competition entry and some tournaments coming up, so that'll be nice.

Moving soon so I've reached out to nerd communities in our new town and already been invited to a Necromunda narrative game so guess I'm learning to play Necromunda.

This weeks Deep Desert base, first one I've built in a month that Baby Cash hasn't been here to help me with 🥲

While he's in newborn stage, Baby Cash is sleeping more often than not so he's been in my chest carrier while we game together and last night he and I built our first carrier and cargo container for Dune and I'm so proud of us

One of the games I've been playing encourages you to record a podcast as you go a la WTNV so instead of doing that I bought myself a cassette recorder and I'm gonna end up with this nice pile of recordings of me solving mysteries and I'm so excited <3

So these are the two new journals I treated myself to for some upcoming games. The black one is for Ion Hearts because I wanted something I could use colours on and make it look striking, so need to pick up some blue and peach gel pens. The green is for Koriko cos it's just such a cute witchy vibe

Update: I've found a strange gizmo on the railroad tracks which I think is connected to the old Observatory that's MEANT to be shut down but still activates at night, and I think that's connected to a woman who has been painting portraits of people who then die three days later
