Reading this for a project, but I have been devastated all the way through…and now motivated to seek out more of Ghada Samman‘s writing. Fucking brilliant and unbelievably prescient.

He absolutely makes A Room With A View: a kindly, big hearted father figure. It’s difficult to imagine anyone else playing that role. Also made art about that:
OMG, same. I was THREE. I had the Viewmaster discs of the movie: years later I made this, inspired by the movie and the text on the VM discs. (It’s meant to be a transmission of “waiting for the mothership” and “no longer alone.”)
