This Echinocereus expels tiny galaxies into the night air. Naughty flower left a tiny, invisible spine in my finger. I finally got it out after a month of minor agony. I did get a photo op out of it, though! #flowerphotography

My friend's garden across the lake is graced with a Cobaea scandens (cup-and-saucer vine). They're so cool in person - no photo can do justice. They are generally white-to-purple but UV light reveals blue, red and pink in there as well. #flowerphotography
