@slomobackslap.bsky.social my brain is soup looking at this. 🤣🤣
Came across this. The first sketch of Fecanya: Ordure Engineer Fairy from my Fairies books. The artist captures 99% of what I wanted on the very first go, which still just amazes me. I look forward to getting back to The Fairies soon.
Ooh ooh I wanna share! Here's mine!
I was alarmed at first until I looked it up. Buddy over there is just having a nice sunbath. Its apparently bow they cool down and rid themselves of parasites as well. I love crows.
Aside from being in great company in the Unavowed Anthology, it made my day to make it into the short list of favorites in a review. Be sure to check this awesome anthology out and discover your new favorite authors, including yours truly. 😁 www.amazon.com/Unavowed-Sha...
Shot out to @slomobackslap.bsky.social youre an awful influence and this controller is awesome.
The green parts are a different plant. The blue flowers are just coming in bit hard to see in this photo. Removing grass and putting these in was the best decision. Less water used and the bees love it.
Haven't made kale chips in years. These aren't baked kale in the oven, these are marinated in agave syrup, a little salt, oliv oil, and Chipotle powder. Dehydrated for about 6-7 hours. Insanely delicious.
A small number of books for now. I hit the limit of images, so my 1st trilogy will be in the comments with the store link. Thank you all who have read these books. It was a great ride up to this point, & I'm looking forward to, more than ever, the ride to come. Path of the Farstrider is coming soon!
Next Book Cover Throwback: Emergence. Contrary to popular belief, Emiel is not modeled from me. We just share a goatee & hairstyle. 😂 3yrs ago sales page data showed that potential readers left my sales page as soon as they saw my covers. I've been thinking of replacing the characters with symbols
@slomobackslap.bsky.social well done, sir.
Next Book Cover Throwbacks is Unleashed. The first book that tackles many characters in a layered story in a fully built world. Plots, subplots, localized conflict beneath the specter of a far greater threat. Personally significant is that this was my first time writing a morally gray character.
Next up in Book Cover Throwbacks: Heroes of a Broken Age; 3rd book in my rookie trilogy. I hit my stride with writing action with this one, & began to grasp juggling more characters. The forthcoming Path of the Farstrider will be the first book to return to this world since Heroes of a Broken Age.
Next up in book cover throwbacks is Legends of a Shattered Age, the 2nd book in m rookie trilogy. Of the 3, this one got a complete top to bottom rewrite. I learned the most from rewriting this book. It's an adrenaline rush with some cool characters I had a lot of fun traveling beside.
Book cover throwback: Echoes of a Shattered Age, the first book I ever wrote. Although I call these three books my "rookie books" and rightly so, I remember every rejection letter for this book being personalized rather than canned responses. This is the one that started it all. 🙂
Book 2 of The Fairies. Although I prefer the more whimsical tone of the first cover, this one still captures that "can you believe this?" fed up attitude of Fecanya. Clumsy flying imps, a demon made of durian fruit, & a supernatural threat to the caffeine supply. This was a fun one.
Big shot out to @rainaaudron.bsky.social and the team who delivered the Legacy of Kain remasters to us to enjoy, once again. And better than ever. Thank you for your passion and hard work!
Thought I'd do a little throwback. Of all the covers of my books, this one is still my favorite. It perfectly captures the attitude and "fed upness" of Fecanya, resident Ordure Engineer Fairy.
@slomobackslap.bsky.social you mentioned having something for when you're on the go. In addition to your S2 I highly recommend one of these. E-ink screen so no eye fatigue. Just like paper. Holds countless books. Just finished the second Mistborn after 2 Witcher books with this.
Got a chunk of editing done early. Chores are done. It is TIME!!!!
@gamelogiq.bsky.social that "Developer Edition" should be going gold soon. Almost there. 😂😂
