In @scruffydraws.bsky.social "The Lost and The Wanderer" I liked the reoccurring action of Kreg holding Rusty's finger. It was a sweet bonding moment that even helped later on in the story. I thought I'd try drawing a close up of it, just for fun.

For 5th anniversary of #kidlitpostcard day, the theme is "You - as a kid." I wanted to get personal with this one. When I read as a kid, I was so focused on the story that my Mom said It was like I were ten feet underwater. I wanted my #illustration to reflect that single concentration.
I did this for National Alligator Day! Featuring Brok from @cowcatgames.com ! A fun drawing. I think he would like a toy gator.
It's in Print! My story is now in a Zine! I had the idea for a while, then I finally wrote it down, finally set it in, and now it's finally here! I hope all enjoy a noir like weasel detective. I would value comments and feedback on it too.
My attempt at Fenwell Fox, a goodhearted but downtrodden tramp who can't get a break. He was in a few kid's comics around the 50s and he caught my eye. Cartooning isn't exactly my strength.

I watched Buddy Thunderstruck recently and decided to do a few doodles of Darnell. Unfortunately, a glitch happened and I lost my work. This headshot had to be done from scratch. And I added some value to it since it solo without the other doodles. Oh well :/.
Artists! Show what built your style! The funny thing is, this stumped me. I drew and traced as a child, but it never was "my style." I copied. Even with fanart, I can copy the established style of the source. For my own art, I wanted to understand, the skill of it, the practice of it.
