Once you've cleared a trail or repaired a bridge on a trail, you never see them the same way again. Appreciation grows.
It would be easy not to in some of the nice but small campgrounds I visited in Oregon. But the fee is small and there's absolutely no reason to stiff the Forest Service. I'm glad to have the use of a pit toilet.
I wonder how many of the perpetrators of the July 4th mayhem around the nation (At least 6 killed in shootings, explosions that wounded dozens across the country @nbcnews.com ) were immigrants or even offspring of immigrants. #ViolenceInAmerica #Scapegoats #ImpulseControl

IMHO, the entire west needs to do this. Oregon leads the way. Of course, the kind of idjuts who flood our public lands these days, would probably just build a rock ring.
