Only five and half days in and I've learnt that: 1. Pull-ups are hard. 2. I'm not very good at them. 3. I'm older than I remembered.
Some call it despair, I'll call it depressive realism. I simply can't wag my tail like a labrador puppy at the thought of another new PM, who simply appears to just not get it. The wasted time and opporutnity just leaves me in a dark place.
Could be a lot worse, and apart from a lot of the God bits, I've been liking a lot of what he's been saying recently.
I don't agree it had to be either, or. The Tories were toast. Labour could have taken a middle way, a "wait and see how the books look at the Treasury, and what needs to be done for the economy" approach. They would not have been so shackled. Absolutely, but tbf on Badenoch, this was also beyond both Cameron and May and the consequences then were far more dire.
Really? But that's Brexit all over. And why would the EU bother with such an uncertain deal. EU (and UK) companies might be reluctant to invest long-term in cross-border trade with the (not so small) possibility that it might be cancelled in 12 months.
