The tarp is not to hide the removal of the letters, or the outrageous damage that the letters caused to the marble facade. It's to create the illusion of repair by covering up that the letters were cheap shit plastic temporary stick-ons from the start. Fugazi on top of fugazi on top of fugazi.
I can confess now that I made Clive Davis cry -- in 1999, when suggested that Supernatural was a contender for Album of the Year (on the Santana beat, I heard it waaay early). One of the few times in my life that I've been right. So long, Clive, and thanks for all the great tunes for us weirdos.
The Mandalorian show is great because it is Star Wars for adults. Dark, cowboy, violent, and wry. Unfortunately, The Mandalorian and Grogu is a kiddie movie. The themes are child-level. There’s a plot but no real story. It advances nothing and is absurdly violent, nonetheless. This is not the way.
Man, The Pitt is a M*A*S*H* homage and says so openly (during the climactic arc in S1). Caught it E1 when we see Robbie and Abbot up on the roof like Trapper and Gonzo. Shawn Hatosy is a ringer for Wayne Rogers, including showing up in fatigues. Strong Hawkeye/Trapper (& BJ) vibes at Goodbye ...
