Smoke from wildfires in Canada has become almost an annual thing, but this is the worst I’ve ever seen. 😫
My grandmother with my dad on her lap and my aunt the Shirley Temple lookalike. 1922. Color photography wasn't a thing yet, so the studio would hire an artist to paint in color tinting. They did a pretty good job, I've seen some that look fake.
This past weekend my sister gave me a box that belonged to our parents. Inside was a treasure trove of old photos, including this one of the Defiance,Ohio high school baseball team in 1907. My grandfather is seated at the lower right. How cool is that?! 🤩
