Wrote online for a bit. Sometimes about video games. Maybe trans hence the name. She/Them. Irish. 33
Just beat the first Tails of Iron and it was such a fun experience. A fun 2.5D soulslike narrated by Geralt's voice actor (I knew I heard it from somewhere) and has a wonderful artstyle. A easy recommend especially at €2.99 till the 23rd and its on Switch too. Also sequel. #TailsofIron1
Its #RandomGameSaturday time and its my all time favorite Castlevania game Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP. Featuring an amazing 2.5D remake of Rondo of Blood alongside both the original game and Symphony of the Night as unlockables, its the perfect classicvania experience to me.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom mentioned. We love Wii games in this house Post some of your favourite Wii games
I had completely forgotten that ist #RandomGameSaturday but this time its one of my all time favorite PS1 games, Final Fantasy IX, a game I first experience through the PSP's PSN store. Features insane graphics for the PS1, a heartfelt story of adventure and belonging and plenty of callbacks.
Jimmy was also willing to be the butt of jokes when needed to like when he had to wrestle so he did so in a suit of armor.
Update but I just beat Selaco and despite it being in early access, it took around 8 to 9 hours on hard difficulty. Didn't play hard on purpose just didn't check the difficulty options for a bit. Despite me being dumb, its a super easy recommend despite it only being in early access. #Selaco
It's #RandomGameSaturday again, so this week I'm going to highlight the Nintendo DS sequel to FFXII, Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings. Its a fun tactical game where you build an army of summons and Vaan actually gets to be the main character for once though the game gets super difficult at points.
So its Steam Summer Sale time and I finally decided to get and play Selaco and its so much fun. A little bit of F.E.A.R (and the shotgun too) mixed with Doom and you get a great time. Also the main character having depression and anxiety on her medical chart is so relatable. #Selace #BoomerShooter
Something about the Pokemon TCG cards I'll always love is how some of them will be fun things like this knited Metapod or the clay cards they did like this Aipom one. They such a weird fun addition.
In this weeks #randomgamesaturday Sonic and Bioware team up for Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. A fun Nintendo DS RPG that like any good RPG has some really fun dialog that I would recommend any Sonic fan check out at least once. Also its Shade the Echidna's only game and her design is neat.
Its #RandomGameSaturday so would you kindly take a moment of your time to remember the wonders of Rapture, the hellhole under the sea. Alongside one of the iconic openings in the 7th generation of consoles, Bioshock has a creepy atmosphere that holds up to this day, fun powers to explore and more.
Also Agrias because during my first Tactics playthrough, her holy sword skills saved my ass till Cid broke everything because Cid.
Also adding Lenneth from the first Valkyrie Profile game and Beatrix from FF9. Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is one of my favorite PSP games and the title I got with my PSP and Beatrix is awesome and in my favorite FF game.
Well I'm finally starting an actual Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough. I briefly played a few months ago on a older laptop and here we go at last. Want to play a caster druid based on the idea of being as annoying as all hell because fun and I like druids. #BaldursGate3
Its time for #RandomGameSaturday and its Bodycount a by the numbers shooter for the Xbox 360 because they can't all be winners okay. A solid 6 out of 10 shooter but the enviromental destruction was cool and half the levels looks like you were fighting inside a mid 2000's idea of the future.
So I decided to try Supplice yesterday as I really like Doom style shooters (boomer shooters) and its really damn cool. I sat down to play a bit of chapter 1 and was hooked till I finished it and it was 3am. If you love these types of games give it a try, its under €9 at the moment. #Supplice
So I don't tend to pay much attention to video game new releases because I tend to dip in and out (ADHD I guess) but we're getting a new Spyro and Castlevania game and the Castlevania game looks really fun to play judging by the trailer too. Also the key art looks sick as hell. #Castlevania #Spyro
Saw this bird while out on a walk today. Living near a river has some perks. #Photo #wildlife #notenoughzoominonphonecamera
Its #RandomgameSaturday so this time its a game I played a stupid amount of growing up and that I'm due a replay of, its Dragon Age: Origins for the Xbox 360. This game was my introduction to Bioware and the crpg genre in general and yes edgy 15 year old me was aware of this game due to THAT trailer
Laika: Aged Through Blood is on sale for €4.99 at the moment and I keep seeing it recommended by people like @caseyexplosion.bsky.social and I recently saw it in a Fiery Joker countdown so why not. A moterbike Metroidvania sounds right up my street right about now.
@williamsrd.bsky.social videos that I started watching like 2ish are how I starting learning about Vampire the Masquarade/tabletop in general lore after some curiousity thanks to a YouTube frontpage recommendation and its gotten me looking up random lore and artwork like below. Their fun videos too.
Listen up you spoony bard, its another #RandomGameSaturday with the first Square Enix remake designed to screw with veteran players Final Fantasy 4 for the Nintendo DS. A fun if hard remake of one of my favorite FF games.
Everytime I play Total Warhammer: Warhammer 3 and see the Bloodcrusher unit, it makes me want to paint some. That being said though, the AoS Slaanesh model range looks cool and the mounted Stormcast stuff is great too.
Its time to tune into the bloodest televised broadcast on the Nintendo Wii for this #RandomGameSaturday with Madworld. A very fun if somewhat repetitive bloodbath with a very cool soundtrack, enjoyable commentary and a great Sin City artstyle that helps the violence pop off the screen.
The 4 most recent games I've been playing. I had exams recently so I was kinda just auto-pilot with OSRS and Warhammer 3 but I did get to play Dead Space 2 for the first time recently and that was great and yesterday I started Shinobi: Art of Vengeance and its amazing so far.
This time round on #RandomGameSaturday its one of my all time favorite Pokémon spin-offs, its Pokémon: Conquest. Honestly a very fun and charming Pokemon spin-off that weirdly limited itself by giving every Mon a single move that you couldn't change but had fun gameplay and a charming artstyle.
So for this #RandomGameSaturday its time to d-d-d-du-duel with Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories for the PS1. A very very grindy game with a great soundtrack and 3d and attacks for every card though you can clearly tell which cards they actually cared about. Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon's peak was here.
Decided to finally try Leagues this time round, because I want the imp thrall cosmetic, and its honestly quite chill. I only came into it knowing that you make money early by stealings gems but I'm thinking a end game build around fire magic. #OSRS #OldSchoolRuneScape
Finally decided to farm out the assembler so that's nice. #OldSchoolRunescape #OSRS
