The guy who was running from ice made it into a home he was renting. The landlord called the local police to complain about ice as they had no warrant and they declined to intervene, so the landlord called the state police who also declined to intervene at first. Here are some following details.
I was there today & spoke w local police officers who told me they were there to protect the demonstrators, who by the way were very peaceful. The incident started when ICE ran a car off the road & there person in the car jumped out and ran into a nearby house. That’s when neighbors stepped in.
