i just saw a very tame grey budgie eating seeds in some bushes outside anyone in stockholm lose one?
i don't think it's possible to ship items with refrigerants between the US and europe with a courier. even if it did, the costs would be many times the product cost. it's also 110 volt, so it would need a transformer. unfortunately the vendors don't want to import any good ACs into europe
i'm seeing they are finally selling portable split units that are rated for more than cooling a camper. the compressor is probably still in te inside part though
updated my passthrough openxr layer. it now bypasses the steamvr camera frame processing, which drops latency by more than one frame, and the valve index camera is no longer weirdly desaturated and over-gamma'd. also improved the stereo filtering a bit, and put more of it on the gpu
two great tit babies fledged out of one of our nest boxes today, with more still inside. (the ones in the camera box sadly didn't make it)
trying to convert the valve index camera feed from interleaved YUYV 4:2:2 to RGB. does anyone know why only the second luma channel in the input has these horrible sharp artifacts?
figured out how to make my openxr api layer automatically launch a renderdoc capture instance, and how to send it an end of frame marker from vulkan. now i can just attach the renderdoc ui to any running openxr app and capture my offscreen asynchronous vulkan renderer with the capture button
babies! 6 out of 10 eggs have hatched. it's raining today so both parents look soaked
neat! the mixed reality/passthrough features in the new x-plane 12 beta work out of the box (using my api layer) with the valve index. should work with any steamvr headset with camera access nice to see devs finally adopting openxr environment blend modes
