Following along with Subjectivley's(not on Bsky) Smaugest prompt list. First day was Tropical, decided to go painterly route for this one as it's something I don't do often.
Oh this is a very nice palette, I will need to try this in a piece. pantonecolors.net/pantone-birt...

Ended up getting that ecotank. First print (on incorrectly sized part for the piece) came out spectacular. Thank you so much for the help!
Broke my sketchbook today so made a new one from its corpse. Ignore the sloppiness I didn’t measure anything lol.
I've been wanting to practice doing some art pieces based on design briefs / commission so I built myself a little generator with google sheets. Heavily inspired by briefbuilder.app But i wanted my own dataset to modify / pull from.
Not great at anatomy but managed to get the character turn around done for class. Hopefully the upcoming anatomy weeks will help!
Getting hit pretty hard with depression at the moment (the torment nexus and anniversary of a friends death) but still doing a bit of daily practice. Never focused on portraits or anatomy before but that’s a goal for this year. These came out better than expected. Feel like fundamentals helped. #art
Day 23 of #artAdventCalendar is a bit of a divergence. This is a leather bag I made early this year. Based on a Swiss medical bag, perfect for art supplies. I do need to restitch some of the corners as It doesn’t lay flat and has some wonky edges. Not bad for my first bag.
Day 22 of #artadventcalendar. An old ink and marker piece for an entrance into a dungeon for a d&d game I was playing.
Day 15 of #artAdventCalendar. An armor gauntlet study I did in COPIC markers and white gel pens
Day 14 #artAdventCalendar a sketch of a grizzly when I was working on better understanding of animal anatomy.
Day 13 of #artadventCalendar. An inktober 2022 drawing of a tri-shield wielding knight.
Day 11 of #artadventcalendar. A linocut of the Bonehunters patch from “The Malazan Books of the Fallen”series.
@charici.bsky.social I was unable to find the gauntlet practice I was looking for but here is an eye study I’m working on.
Day 10 of #artAdventCalendar. I found this old piece while looking through some sketchbooks. One of my first paintings, and one of my first gouache pieces. Still love it even if the proportions are out of wack.
Day 9 of #artAdventCalendar is a poster design for the Dungeon Crawl Classics Road Crew poster contest. Was also my first project using #Rebelle which went fantastic imo.
This is a page from a couple years ago when I was just figuring out the practice loop. Started seeing a lot of improvement after this.
Day 8 of #artadventcalendar. Getting low on pieces to show off! Gonna have to sketch some to fill in the last days. Here is a sketch from a D&D campaign themed inktober.
