The bricks sat on site down the street from me for over a month before the builder could get brick masons to start putting them on the house. Deporting undocumented workers is slowing home construction.
McMansion being built down the street. The brick was delivered a month ago and none has been put on the house. A lot of construction work like this is done by undocumented immigrants. This delay indicates either builder has a problem with the construction lender or insufficient supply of labor.
When there is a tornado watch I put prescription meds, wallet and electronics in a tote bag and put that and shoes in my windowless half bath. Then if a tornado WARNING is issued I go there. Because this is what a tornado can do.
