Good news!! The black skirting seems to be working at keeping the rats out!! Changed the cage layoua bit and Ruby is actually coming out for lettuce bonding time now!! When they start getting bored of bonding time I rain it round to give them some snuffing time. #guineapigs #guineapig

We had a cool night last night, which was awesome for the power bill but still expecting 40°C temps this week (wheek lol) so piggies are staying inside. Here they are enjoying their breakfast #guineapig #guineapigs
I moved the piggies to the kitchen floor (psst don't tell my landlord) because i needex to clean their temporary cage and just generally it's cooler in the kitchen. Violet has been like this in front of the fan almost the whole day ❤️ #guineapig #guineapigs

Piggies are doing well. Aircon seems to be working better since the service and haven't found any more rat droppings (touch wood). They've discovered they can crawl under this one blanket 😅 It's ok. There's another layer underneath #guineapig #guineapigs
