Going through some videos from the past few weeks. Metallica were insanely good!!!
Having a reminisce of past Download Festivals. 2023 was my favourite (despite me looking and feeling like shit). Saw Ghost, Metallica, Alter Bridge, BMTH, Slipknot, Simple Plan, Ville Valo, Carpenter Brut (plus more). It was so hot and dusty that whole weekend and the camp walk was horrendous.
This doesn’t surprise me at all. Standard trolleys aren’t built for the Donington campsite. 😂 In 2024 I saw broken trolleys that didn’t even leave the car park.
Summer will be good! Gutted to be missing Download Festival, Ed Fest and 2000 Trees but I’ll gladly take these instead.
Slipknot have been slowly selling out for years but this is some high grade sell out shit.
