I don't mean to malign hot dogs. During the 70s my old man was the broken wienie king of Los Angeles. Besides, I still love a good old all-beef, natural casing hot dog (like Vienna or Hoffy) with sauerkraut or chili, cheese, & onions. However, Tommy is such a freakin' joke, I couldn't resist.

Yesterday was my 79th birthday. I've been preparing myself to confront my oldest daughter (who will be 25 in a couple of weeks) regarding her aloofness towards both me and her mother. Then she hands me this! I'm verklempt!
