Why have I got a picture of @markhamillofficial.bsky.social as a 19th Century bearded gentleman on my photo roll??!?
V impressed with Porter Hill loose leaf tea but I’m kind of in love with the thought of Daisy, filling up my packets of Earl Grey (& some variants) while listening to AC/DC 🤘
Well, given that Nazi Germany had two actual battleships this is one heck of a claim if true … (for context … scuttled ships are appearing in the depleted Danube) @dreadships.bsky.social
Wonderful to be back at Media City to offer a Pause For Thought on BBC Radio 2 … with the lovely Jason and Rev Kate
Today was my last day before retirement … a tough, emotionally hard-hitting day (I held it together until the Bishop asked me to bless those gathered) but I’m full of gratitude and thankfulness. As of tomorrow I shall be Archdeacon Emerita … and we shall see what God has got in store for me next …
Can I commend this new book to you. It contains bold and timely chapters on what the Church needs to do in order to meet the future, including a chapter from me on cherishing trans and nb people.
This is a new book published by Iona Books/Wild Goose Publishing. Well worth a close look.

While digging by through stuff ahead of retirement I found this old book published by the IWM about its art collection. It’s brilliant. I may share some images from it over coming days.
In case anyone thinks I’ve given up on the #BastilleBuild, I’ve really enjoyed this Great War French Armoured Car from CSM thus far. #HistScaleModels
Well, #HistScaleModels friends, here’s my attempt at a helicopter… a tremendous kit from Airfix but my skills were defeated in the end. I couldn’t make my hands work all the added PE for the steps and many of the decals were too challenging for me. #ScaleModels
Mon project pour la construction du group « bastille build « : un taxi avec les poillou, le bataille de la Marne #BastilleBuild
Anyone ever read this hoary old volume? Thinking of taking a look. @alanallport.bsky.social ?
Delighted to receive a physical copy of this fantastic poetry collection by @kymdeyn.bsky.social … a great debut. Go buy! @ninearchespress.bsky.social
Follow the link for a rare chance to buy this fine book CHEAP on the body, grief and God by me … a tragically overlooked book at its initial release (I.e. it could have sold better … I miss how easy it was to promote books on Twitter but X needs to die …) chbookshop.hymnsam.co.uk/features/fla...
It has been a joy and a privilege to worship with the people of Gloucester Cathedral this past Holy Week and on into the Triduum. Waiting for the Easter Morning Eucharist to commence in this extraordinary medieval space…
I’m not a mathematician, Jim, but even I suspect there might be some arithmetic issues with this result …
Hi, on this #TDOV, I’m Rachel … the first out trans priest in a senior role in the Church of England. I am also a writer, award-winning poet and theologian, and a broadcaster. Being trans is great, ordinary, and frankly not the most interesting thing about me. I love being me! #TransDayOfVisibility
People talk of British soft power in Middle East… this is what it looks like … #Vimto
I’m with St Paul’s Astley Bridge this morning. They now worship in the church school. It had led to growth in their congregation and a deepening of their faith.
Probably for the best that no one dresses up as a character from my novel The Gospel of Eve for #WorldBookDay … though I guess ordinands at colleges like Mirfield or Cuddeston might do so unconsciously… #BookChat
