Positive news! I have grown a native oak tree. As I remove the non native species such as Sitka I will plant this wee beauty to add diversity back into this ancient Scottish woodland.
Seeing a lot of people accidentally voting for another party IGV rather than ‘Scottish Greens’. An absolute scandal.

Red Squirrel wiped out in East Lothian Scotland. Loss of woodland and non-native grey squirrels the major drivers.

Did you know the original Bambi was a roe deer before Disney ok. The buck in this clip will be starting to get territorial in the months running up to the rut. The female may well be pregnant but the fertilised egg has been held back from being implanted until after winter to ensure a summer birth…
