Yesterday we did a mock trial to learn how to be a team with our dogs more! Especially Dash and I! Riot came to watch since she isn’t able to run till next month. She also celebrated her birthday with her siblings!

Since Riot has been on hold, been doing more work with Dash. Who did well at his first AHBA trial! What a good boy!
Baby girl Riot tore her cruciate ligament. On bed rest for a while. Which sucks. Its nearly her birthday and she has to be crated for the next month. Trying to keep her busy with brain activities than physical. Border collies have no self preservation.

They def learn the routine and habits from each other. Which makes having a puppy so easy. Its mostly just potty training. Rest is from the pack. Funny puppy story was my baby Mal Pilot being terrified of chickens. He is not afraid anymore lmao

Judging a cattle USBCHA trial sorta fell in my hands. Learned a lot and now I wanna do it more! I wanna learn a sheep one next! Im a novice handler, but I know my stuff! I only have a baby dog right now, we’ll be moving up in no time. So proud of Riot working cattle for the first time at 10 mos.
If you ever wondered what happens to asparagus if you let it keep growing! Previous owners left a garden with them sprouting every year! Did you know it takes years for them to grow fully?
