Ah, yes. African “invaders”. So says the most hateful newspaper in the UK — a country that famously invaded Africa, carved up its borders and stole its resources.
Tommaso Ciampa taking a break during his hardcore match to beat up the local hockey team mascot. 👏🏻 I 👏🏻 LOVE 👏🏻 WRESTLING #wrestling #wrestlesky #aew
Well, England may be out, but at least we still have ALL IN, bruv #WorldCup #ENGARG #Wrestling #AEW #WrestleSky
“We would see a publisher that we had never heard of before show up with a thousand books. And we could tell that it wasn’t actually a publisher, but three LLMs in a trench coat.” www.thebookseller.com/news/rakuten...

Been very happy to criticise Starmer the entire time he’s been Prime Minister. However, that does not mean Labour should descend into a chaos of leadership musical chairs like the Tories did for 10 years… #ukpolitics #labour
Imagine looking this happy to announce you’re quitting your job while much of the country worries whether they need to start using food banks. #ukpolitics #Labour Prick.
Thrilled to see so many @policypress.bsky.social authors in the May/June edition of @basw-uk.bsky.social Professional Social Work magazine! 🎉 • @saomhistory.bsky.social • Luke Clements and Ana Laura Aiello (@lawatleeds.bsky.social) • Tim Fisher (@relactionlactivism.bsky.social)
It's only an hour long, though, and does have some interesting insight in the second half. Watching the sad death behind the eyes of Progressive Liberal and the anger in the crowds reminded me of all those wrestler memoirs that talk about bloodthirsty audiences in 1970s and 80s Puerto Rico.
In the early minutes of the documentary, Munya frames the theory of Trump doing politics x wrestling as his own personal theory. In reality, there's been years of brilliant writing on this subject. Would've been helpful to hear from any one of these. They're all just a quick Google away.
Munya also weirdly questioned Beefcake on seeing his gardening shears, as if forgetting that he entered the ring with them every show. Immediately made me doubt whether this presenter, who claimed to still love wrestling today, had actually seen a single match since his childhood.
Just before his interview with Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Munya Chawawa talks up the wrestler as if he was a Big Dog of his time. Any actual wrestling fan will tell you that Beefcake was a pathetic loser who clung to the coattails of Hulk Hogan (what a horrible wagon to hitch yourself to btw).
Everything going so horribly wrong in Trump’s America is a helpful preview of the nightmare that could visit the UK’s shores if Reform win the next General Election. Most people would get poorer. This much seems clear. The Left could change this…
Though this message of being grateful to rich people for taking care of us smelly poors was pretty tone deaf. The crowd, who just moments ago had been cheering loudly, was clearly in two minds about it. #wrestling #aew #wrestlesky
As stinking rich people go, Ted was a very good egg. #wrestling #aew #wrestlesky
A sweet moment between two legends to start off AEW Dynamite. Sting and Tony Schiavone were there at the very beginning, when Ted Turner first got into the rasslin’ business and changed the game forever. #wrestling #aew #wrestlesky
But boy oh boy did I love the money #books #childrensbooks #booksky
News a bit grim at the minute, eh? Relieved to see the millionaires and billionaires all marked safe from it 😮💨
Kid Rock living out exactly what he's been preaching since The Gospel of American Badass (2000).
He stopped by her open window and relished at the thought. "Just one per day." Mr Tickle slithered a long, menacing arm through the opening.
Then, one day, Mr Tickle paid a visit to Little Miss Magic. He pleaded with her to make his arms long again. She relented, but made him promise to limit his tickles to one per day. Mr Tickle begrudgingly accepted the terms.
