I'm gonna guess that "embracing the mediterranean life" here does not extend to the government doing anything to adapt the country to this changed climate.

Finished the Rugby half marathon in 1:41:06 by my watch. I wanted to do under 1:45 so I'm super happy with that. Was quite hilly too, although the weather was very good 😊
It was a pretty clear message really. I don't blame the people who believed it. I do blame the people who propagated it, and the media lads who abjectly failed to challenge it.
Basically this argument boils down to, "we should be able to do whatever we like, because we are big and you are tiny."
Yet. They're working on it. I assume they are calling this Project Chainsaw because calling it DOGE would be a bit too embarrassing even for them.
