chances are slim of me getting a Switch 2 tho and even slimmer that I'd end up preferring the remake to one of the first games I ever beat and have played roughly 1.5 shitzillion times since
-Ocarina should have a button to add distortion -Link should wear Gerudo clothes to sneak in the fortress -Navi should be voiced by Patti Harrison -Talon should explain wtf he means when Link talks to him wearing a Gerudo mask & he goes "you look like my wife! wait, you don't look like her at all!"
As a kid my biggest bummer with OoT was how limited the Hookshot was. curious if the remake will incorporate Link's "climb/go anywhere" movement from the newer games, imagining like... Just Cause Link zipping around Hyrule lol. Might be goofier than they're willing to go and make Epona a bit jelly
tbh my first thought seeing the art style is I'm wondering how they're gonna handle the gnarlier parts. The Bottom of the Well's got like... bloody torture chambers and walls made of skulls. Jabu-Jabu's Belly HD would be uh... GROSS >.> I'm definitely curious how dark they're willing to go
RANDOM OOT REMAKE THREAD I'm kind of assuming it's a RE4Make situation, keeping the beats the same but expanding the scale/fleshing out the story & with modern aspects. could be wrong and it's just a graphical update, but I kinda doubt there's gonna be as much "LINK TRY Z-TARGETING ISN'T IT NEAT?"
