Look at the dogs I saw today! They make quite the pair.

A white dog, rather large. He has heterochromia. Looks like a lab mixed with a great dane. He's being walked on a leash.

A tiny fawn coloured Chihuahua. He's on a walk on a leash. He has a grizzled snoot and looks like he wants pets.

I absolutely wanted this flower pot, but sadly do not have a yard for it. Maybe some day! The conservatory gift shop is actually pretty neat in both the eclectic nature all tied together by a singular theme (sounds paradoxical, I know) and also that you can get good plants for fairly cheap.

Bric-a-Brac in a gift shop, mostly plant or garden themed. Includes giant paper flowers, small mammals made of mixed materils (metal and faux plants), candle tapers shaped like flamingo croquet mallets, delicate glassware, houseplants.
In the center on a long legged stool (or table?) with a proportionately small flat surface sits a metal flower pot of fun, bright colours (each part being a different colour). The body is the pot, and it has a head with a wide open mouth, pronounced nostrils, and big big goofy looking eyes. It also has spindly legs and tiny feet with 3 toes each.

Sora and I went to the conservatory today where we had our first date a decade ago. One of my favourite shots from the day:

Pink flowers on tall, straight, thin stalks. Any leaves are much further down the plant and out of sight. The pink flowers look like little fireworks explosions and some of the petals have their fuzzy bits on their tips. The pink could be described as Barbie pink and the yellow as marigold yellow.

If I run far enough, will I still be someone's daughter? Will my name be spoken in whispers, or worse, not spoken at all?

If I stay away long enough, can I be erased by time? Can I slip between the cracks so far that I void the blood that ties us?

I'm not sure what it feels like to be loved, but I don't think it's supposed to feel like this. I don't think my feet should be scarred from walking on eggshells.

And if this is love, then may I never be found.

Ozzie Tummy

every single day the news is like "breaking: the president has decreed that 100 to 200 angry hornets will be crammed into the mouth of each and every non-billionaire in the continental US on a random night this week while they sleep!" and every single time i'm like "...is this a power traditionally held by the executive branch of the US government?" and sometimes the answer is "unfortunately yes" and sometimes the answer is "no but it's happening anyway lol" and then i'm like "well i guess i hope the other branches impose checks and balances on his decision" and then the republican-majority supreme court is like "we're fine with this" and the republican-majority congress is like "what if the hornets were angrier actually" and then some glossy new startup is like "we built a tool to help predict which night is your night to have the hornets jammed in there, it's called buzzz :) " but the it turns out the tool is powered by ai so it's completely worthless and anyway what i'm saying is no, i haven't really been keeping up on my laundry lately.

45 doesn't feel too shabby.

rieve with purple hair of various shades, cut to about the middle of their ears. it's slightly messy and not parted, but vaguely styled. They are wearing a white button down with red lobsters on it that has a collar held by pins of Satoru Gojo and a penguin to a gray sweater vest in a paisley pattern with navy and blue diamonds.
