It was a really bad spring and nothing grew, then we skipped straight to summer heat and everything grew at once so this is the first year I’ve got lupins, peonies, poppies and cosmos blooming and … I’m not mad.
I bought this poppy from a Canadian tire discount rack for $.99 like three years ago and thought it died the first year and never returned. I was mistaken.
Update: he’s home! Definitely got in a scrap with something but aside from a few minor cuts and being hungry and tired, he’s in good shape
