Was taking a walk last night and saw this. Legit thought this was a real bird until I got closer.
C'Tan shard of the Nightbringer. #Warhammer #necrons #WarhammerCommunity
Nightbringer WIP. Still thinking on how I want to handle the scythe and if I want to do anything special with the edges of the robe.
What gets me most about this is the fact that while I have been made aware, that I could and have signal boosted, because I do not live in California, I could not do much more to keep this from going forward, all I could do was sit and watch. Same with New York, all I could do was sit and watch.
C'Tan Shard of the Void dragon #necrons #warhammer #miniaturepainting #warhammercommunity
Got this kickstarter reward in today, methinks I'll be using them for my miniatures going forward when I can.
Can we get an 'F' in the chat for this model I had to throw out recently? Evidently when I printed the giant head years back, I printed it hollow but forgot to leave any holes for resin drainage. So, years later, it burst out, ruined the paintjob and left a small mess on my shelf.
Here's what I have for #WIPWednesday, this Void Dragon shard. What about you? #Warhammer #paintingwarhammer #Necrons
WIP on the C'tan Void Dragon shard, decided to give Vallejo's True Metallic Metal a try and I'm impressed with the results.
Glued to a base, added texture paste, skulls and some dead animal bits
New terrain piece, a merger of two 3d print files, took six hours to print. I plan to stick it on a base and paint it.
Mono No Aware. For the uninitiated, this is a Japanese phrase which typically translates as ‘the pathos of things’, expressing the power objects have in evoking feelings of impermanence and the passing of time. I also use it as the motto at the bottom of the emblem of my armored core, Manticore.
Rapturous Cultists from the #darkestdungeon board game #miniaturepainting
If you see this, post vampire or vampire related arts. (Necromancers and other undead count.)
Agreed. I use AI at work, and while GitHub CoPilot can work as an accelerator for getting work done, I would not trust it for anything more. I can remember one quote from someone I used to follow that made my heart sink: "I do not need to worry about code quality, that's Claude's job."
Back on the #miniature #painting grid with these flesh hounds from the #darkestdungeon #boardgame.
