Tabletop Tavern is good. So impressive a single dev can create such a nice take on the Total War formula! It's very charming and fun and I can't wait for more. I think the Slay The Spire style campaign works better for me - fun but less chance of gaming all night 🤣 @tabletoptavern.bsky.social
Thinking about this again today after TSR settings being brought up because it’s specifically about a memory I have of going to Red Lobster with my family and reading this book there (which still represents, 20 years later the complete extent of my interaction with Spelljammer, Darksun, etc.)

I do think “conservatives can never think or write or make interesting art” is a trap / lazy pattern of thought that a lot of people fall into. The danger is that once you push past that you very quickly risk falling victim to the other trap, canonically described in pic related
