Managed to cut myself with a flat head screwdriver today

How this happen?? Is this result of parasitic insects or just wasn’t digested by a bird or something else?? The only pics I’ve seen from parasitic insects, they eat a lot more of their host than this.

Ugh I miss mushroom cult. I need input. I don’t think they’re ceciliae because the stems seem too smooth but they do turn a brownish color when mature. Found under oaks in my yard. Dw I don’t have the boldness to eat any amanitas.
