I'm an enthusiastic dabbler in many hobbies and curious about everything. I love my husband, my dog, reading, photography, and napping.
I did this paint-by-numbers painting. Doing it strictly by the directions and paint provided looked pretty awful. So I got some more paint and mixed my own colors and painted over lots of the original result. I think it turned out great! I'm doing a raven on a headstone next.
I turned 55 three weeks ago and I had to buy my first pair of reading glasses today. Now I'm having a martini. It's called self care.
Is this “evidence” every single thing happening every single day? Because, if so, the simulation is collapsing.
Hitting iconic NYC beer bars while visiting. Like a big nerd, I'm having a sparkling water while everyone else is drinking, but we're all happy.
This is my planner organizer I bought from @mostlybree.kitrocha.com Etsy shop. (And my favorite pen holder ever from a now-closed gift shop in Chattanooga.) As you can see it will hold a notebook-sized planner/journal in the back. Also check out the adorable little baby dragon and octopus. 😍
The number one movie when you were ten will define your 2026. Hot damn! Nazis getting their faces melted off?? Yes, please. If that’s going to be how it works, bring on 2026!!
Last year my younger nephew was the cutest scarecrow ever. This year he is a genuinely scary-looking Grim Reaper with glowing red eyes. What a difference a year makes. And as I type this, I realize he's a literal metaphor. Anyway, I hope he got a ton of candy.
My Bogie is no longer with us. He was not a fan of wearing any sort of dog clothing or costume, but he wore this exactly long enough for me to take this picture. He would wear collars that looked like bow ties or long ties which always made him look like a dapper secret agent.
I love #Halloween so much. Here are my outside decorations. Inside, nearly every room in my house is fully Halloween-ed.
My take away is that some of his buddies said they'd shorted a bunch of stocks and needed a temporary tanking of the market.
I'm not sure about using this as my profile picture. The sunglass selfie is awfully maga. But I'm not sitting in my vehicle.
No, what happens in our current system of hyper capitalism is that when foreign goods become more expensive, domestic manufacturers see this as an opportunity to raise their prices, too. All prices go up and zero jobs are created.
My Westie's best friend is a CKC Spaniel! Notice how neither of them can be bothered to look at the camera. They're both so spoiled and very loveable brats.
I hope everyone has a gentle holiday. I know it isn't an easy time for everyone. I'm so grateful for the good things in my life. I hope you all have a lot to be thankful for, too.
