Yeah. 😢 It turns out manufacturing a custom board game is pricey. (I tried so many ways to cut costs.) And the economies of scale for such a niche game… aren’t great. When the Crowd Sale starts in August, I’m hoping that will make at least some bulk discount available.
What is a Crowd Sale? Glad (I’m pretending) you asked! It’s crowd-funding at Thegamecrafter.com. You sign up for whatever discount buying in bulk for one month gets you. The more people buy, the cheaper it is. Tag! starts at $5 off ($67.99) and goes down from there. Coming in August!
My favorite band is The National (because I’m a cliché). Anyway, every time they put out a new album, it sounds strange and bad to me… until it doesn’t.
Coming Soon: the crowd sale for Tag! The Jurisdiction Game, the civil-procedure board game I made with my students! For more details and to sign up for updates: civprogame.my.canva.site

That does seem to be the case (updated April 22). But this reasoning doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
I mean, I like Cass generally, but this section is like "We've got both kinds of music, country AND western!"

Rain chances will be sticking around this week throughout the Pittsburgh area.
I finally got the latest version of my Civil Procedure Game! Now with a box, better cards, and individualized pawns and tokens..
