Counterpoint, the old Waymo Firefly pods did fine on El Camino for years.

The quintessential late-1990s computer desk. A one-piece medium-brown wood design with integrated hutch. A beige CRT monitor in the center, with a rack full of CDs to its left. Two drawers at the bottom on each side, with a beige PC tower on the right, and some software boxes and paper racks on the left. Small speakers on the middle hutch shelves, and a compact upright inkjet printer on the top right. The center section of the desk with keyboard/mouse drawer appears to pull out separately on small wheels, below the monitor shelf.

Walked across town this morning and saw some cool cars.

The rear view of a heavily customized car parallel-parked on a suburban street. Likely based on a late-1980s Toyota Cressida, it has heavily "stanced" tires, suspension, and fender flares, with only a few millimeters of fender clearance. It is painted white with yellow, red, and checkered racing stripes down the side. The left taillight and rear bumper have been completely eliminated by bodywork, with a large decal saying "TOM'S" covering most of the left rear of the car. The exhaust pipe sticks nearly 2 feet past the rear of the body. The rear passenger door has been sealed shut by bodywork, although the stock windows are still present. A large number "3" decal covers the front passenger door.

There are no headlights or grille present, just a large gaping opening. A decal of white Japanese text covers the upper third of the windshield. The interior appears to be left-hand drive and mostly stock.

Today I learned about FARO Crime Zone, a CAD software package specifically for documenting crime scenes.
