In the span of a week I'm going from making ramen in the middle of the desert to making ramen in my friend's backyard gazebo. Where the booth concept all started~

Went to a circus for the first time since I was a kid. Omg it was SO freaking wild. I didn't know how much I needed this.

They aren't coming along too bad! I'm feeling super nostalgic for the trip to Tas so I'm making a whole bunch of em.

I have a LOT of leftover scallions from CFT. So it's all going in dumpling filling! Taking a crack at Australian-Chinese Dim Sims.

Overall, this CFT will be one I remember for many years if not decades. A pivotal moment in my life's journey that really showed just how much everyone loves what I do. In a way, it's a reflection of how much love I've put into this community. I really look forward to what's to come~

I made sure that I had at least a couple of days to enjoy CFT. Sunday was the day I went especially wild. Nothing felt more cathartic after two days of hard work than going feral and running around shirtless with my fursuit head and back tattoo on full display.⬇️

Most importantly though, I want to thank everyone who jumped in to help me. Whether it be setting up and tearing down, getting toppings on the bowls, or checking tickets at the door. Seeing just how supported I was brought tears to my eyes. ⬇️ 📷: @quietfire.bsky.social

When it was time to open for tickets, I charged across camp waving one of my nobori flags and blaring the iconic charumera. Given the news from earlier that day, that lap around camp felt celebratory in a way. Coming back to my shop to see a long line for tickets was an incredible sight to see.⬇️

I'd have to say the highlight of it all happened on Friday. While Liquid was fixing an emergency gas leak on one of my burners, I got a text saying "Congratulations! You financing has been approved." ⬇️

Alright. Time for a LONG recap thread of CFT. As I lie in bed, feeling sore, coughing up dust, and tending to several scrapes and bruises I keep thinking about how all of this was so worth it. This was. By far. The best CFT I have ever had. ⬇️

I literally just got home from CFT and the first thing I did was find a place on my bulletin board for some gift art from @kasettetape.bsky.social! When I found this on the bar counter of my ramen stall on Saturday, I was so beside myself!

DUDE! It's been forever! I'm going to CFT tomorrow and setting up my stall like I did last year!

I just realized I've had this backpack for as long as I've been mastering ramen... This brand doesn't even exist anymore. It's been with me from climbing the summit of Mt. Fuji to living in a van in Washington to just about every con I've ever been to.

Portioned the mayu and gave it a test run for lunch. Those beads floating on the surface are soooo gooood omg.

An immersion blender I found at a garage sale for $5 is whipping up mayu better than that dinky little food processor ever could!

First time using my canopy for anything other than ramen and one of the stickers from my bowls is stuck to my spare wall panel. 🤣

Just got out of the TADC finale and I'm not saying a goddamn thing. xP GO FUCKING WATCH IT ALREADY!
