I bought a Mullein earlier in the summer, planted it despite being late in the growing season and am happy to see it is blooming — with these pretty white flowers. The Bumble Bees are getting at the last of the pollen. Also, amazingly, saw a Damselfly touch down in the garden

I made potato dauphinoise for the first time this evening. I used this recipe www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/next... which claims to be “next level”. Not going to lie: it is. I think it’s because it calls for cream in a 1:1 ratio to potato #yummy
