According to The Wall Street Journal, citing anonymous sources, SpaceX showcased an early prototype of a handset-like AI device to the company's investors ahead of its blockbuster IPO. Slimmer than an iPhone, the device incorporates technology from Musk's AI company, xAI, and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, The Journal's sources said. However, SpaceX founder Elon Musk denied the report on social media, calling it "utterly ‌false." The report comes as other AI giants like OpenAI race to develop an AI-driven successor to the smartphone.

The organization plans to add to its current building once it's paid off, Shepard said, and it's in talks with a hospital about 30 miles away in Washington state to bring in an OB-GYN once a week to provide prenatal care.

If obstetric care existed now in Sandpoint, Shepard said, "we wouldn't even be considering" the expanded services. "But there's such a need. And our community suffers because of it."

Adventures in trying to run a free and sliding scale clinic: a real live email I just sent our electronic records management company a few minutes ago.... And people wonder why I don't sleep anymore.

Hi, I know this is getting resolved and that as always I need to wait another month but I just want to make sure it is VERY clear how my clinic has been impacted by the drag out of not ending the unused coding/billing upgrade we asked to stop back in November.

This month our bill jumped $1000 over what we had been paying the last few, and it was entirely due to $5 per patient fees added to our cost for a service that wasn't being used and we repeatedly said we did not want. And on our end, a majority of those patients yall charged over were Medicaid patients paying us a $2.99 copay for services that we would not be reimbursed for because we have only just now gotten approval for Medicaid reimbursement for the providers who saw them.

I 100% understand Athena is a for profit business. Truly, I do. I am not. I am a person doing everything I can to try to help people address their health concerns now before they end up in hospitals later. Because of that we see patients even though we will get little to no reimbursement because their lives have a worth that massively outweighs financial gains.

Our clinic received a total of less than $7000 of insurance reimbursements for that month. More than one third of that will now go to covering our EMR fees. Please get this resolved before our next invoice, I beg you.

New page with ad for “baby boxes” - a safe surrender program for pregnant people to anonymously abandon their newborns. Boxes are proliferating across the country but few people use them as most people who give birth keep and parent their child so instead this encourage s hiding a pregnancy and avoiding medical care.
