Our stance on AI-generated music
Hi Robo-Horus!
AI music generation tools are changing how music is created and distributed. As this technology evolves, Tidal is introducing platform standards to protect artists, their craft, and inform listeners.
Here are the highlights of our new AI Policy:
Tidal will identify and tag AI-generated music in our app. Listeners will see an "AI" badge next to music we detect as wholly AI-generated.
Tidal will not tolerate AI-generated music that impersonates an artist or group, or that facilitates fraudulent activity. We're implementing automatic tools to remove these releases immediately and on an ongoing basis.
Tidal will not allow music that is 100% AI-generated to be monetized. No royalties will go to such releases, nor will AI-generated uploads be eligible for direct-to-fan sales.
We will expand these policies to music that is substantially AI-generated when AI detection technology is sufficiently reliable to do so.
You'll start seeing these changes from July 15.

Wikipedia Screenshot: "Paul McCartney was inspired to write "Helter Skelter" after reading an interview with the Who's Pete Townshend in which he described their September 1967 single, "I Can See for Miles", as the loudest, rawest, dirtiest song the Who had ever recorded. McCartney said he then wrote "Helter Skelter" to have "the most raucous vocal, the loudest drums". On 20 November 1968, two days before the release of The Beatles (also known as "the White Album"), McCartney gave Radio Luxembourg an exclusive interview, in which he commented on several of the album's songs. Speaking of "Helter Skelter", he said:

"...I'd read a review of a record which said, "and this group really got us wild, there's echo on everything, they're screaming their heads off." And I just remember thinking, "Oh, it'd be great to do one. Pity they've done it. Must be great – really screaming record." And then I heard their record and it was quite straight, and it was very sort of sophisticated. It wasn't rough and screaming and tape echo at all. So I thought, "Oh well, we'll do one like that, then." And I had this song called "Helter Skelter," which is just a ridiculous song. So we did it like that, 'cos I like noise.""

According to Genius ( genius.com/19473700 ) they are referring to Ralph Ellison, author of Invisible Man. But, unless RATM specifically said who it was somewhere, it's not definitive.

Zack de la Rocha may be utilizing a double-meaning of “shock” – primarily to establish an idealogical kinship between his narrator and Ellison, but perhaps also to refer to an episode in which Ellison’s “Invisible Man” is subjected to electroshock treatment after being tricked into causing a workplace accident. de la Rocha makes clear reference to “electroshock” on “Year of Tha Boomerang,” the very next song after “Roll Right” on Evil Empire."

I spent like 2 hours ranting in a Letterboxd list description

A very long rant (too long to fit in the alt text) from the description of a letterboxd list called Things I've Watched But Won't Log For Logistical Reasons. It talks about Letterboxd having TV Shows and if that makes sense, letteboxd saying that they would add shows (which they did not do), and also has long sections about "What even is a movie anyways?"

I list of slasher horror movies. The list has every Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie, every Black Christmas movie, every Halloween movie, Every Friday The 13th movie, every Nightmare on elm street movie, and every scream movie. They are organized in a spreadsheet in order of release date.
