Another drawing I forgot to post from mid-July. I’ve been absent for a while. My arthritis got bad and it was painful to draw, so drawing has been very sporadic over the last 2 months between flare ups. 💙 this one was inspired by the handsome and deliciously thicc @himboluv.bsky.social

Instagram deleted 5 (heavily censored) pieces of my artwork today for breaking community guidelines. He was always this mysterious handsome older model that I didn’t really know anything about, but was intrigued by. It wasn’t until relatively recently that I happened to find him on insta, which instantly rekindled a passion to draw him again. fifty_something_jon (IG) jon__quill (IG)
Jon is a life model who I’ve wanted to re-draw for a long time. When I started getting back into drawing about 15 years ago I stumbled across his Flickr and was inspired to draw him, he was so comfortable in his own body. I sketched him many times in pencil on paper.
