5/n A few sanity checks: -same cutoff did not affect frequency of 10 other common diagnoses -but it did correlate with stepwise reduction in shingles diagnoses, as expected (see fig) -same birthdate cutoff but in other years (ie, Sep 2, 1932 instead of 1933) had no effect on dementia rates
