Been waiting a while for this guy! Excited to finally have a repairable, upgradable laptop
One last time in the Colosseum for the Oakland Roots v Sac Republic game
Up until the WCF i avoided watching the spurs because i was too bitter about fox forcing his way out of sac, particularly bc of how he did so. thanks for the good memories in sac but with this layup and his response that is gone. I finally have some closure and will root against him going forward
Saw this post on reddit about fox, and honestly it's a bit carthartic to see fox's lack of accountability and awareness wasn't just because of the Kings but just who fox was. With that mentality we were never gonna go anywhere with him.
Checked CA06 after waking up and it's gotten me worried... Only 48%... Lots of ballots to go
Happy wahab is winning in my district, the AIPAC money that came in last minute in support for Hernandez had me sweating
Just got my fyro levo travel backpack and I'm really happy with it. Fits all the stuff I'd want to bring on a trip and it's comfortable while fully packed :)
Asian Civilazations Museum: honestly a little overwhelming for me, it's one of those museums where the seeing the artifacts is the primary focus which usually I don't like, but this museum is all about the ways in which cultures mix. Definitely in all day thing, or multiple visits place.
SG National Museum: As someone from the US, I don't have much knowledge of SEA history, so a lot of the museum was interesting and informative, which is genuinely what I love about going to museums: learning about different topics you otherwise wouldn't have.
Last week I decided to stay in the hotel and just rest and relax. This week, some touristy stuff given I'm in Singapore. Went to 2 museums: the Singapore National Museum and the Asian Civilazations Museum. Also passed by Boat Quay (looks cool but definitely tourist trap-y)
There's a Mensho Tokyo near the hotel I'm staying at in Singapore and I was more than happy to spend my per diem to have one of the best meals in my life: A5 Wagyu Abura Soba 🤤
Very glad that my book club book came in time. My original order got canceled, panicked and rushed this one. Going to be away for business for most of this month 😅. If this didn't come today I would have been screwed 😭
If you ever have free time in the bay area for whatever reason, I absolutely recommend the Oakland Museum of California. It is extremely well designed, does a great job in introducing you to a lot of Californian and American history that doesn't get discussed much and is very thought provoking.
The last 4 hours of the flight were pretty rough but I survived @_@ Greetings from Singapore!
Going to Singapore for a work trip, then after that a personal trip to Japan and Korea. Excited, but got a direct 16 hr flight to deal with 😅
