While I get that one person handling the community emails for Paizo is likely overwhelmed, at the moment, not sending them will not communicate how bad the community thinks this decision is. I can appreciate Maya's situation and would, strongly suggest, that emails sent be kept polite.

Avi Henriques, associated with Paizo, telling people not to email their frustrations with Paizo cancelling their parternship with Archives of Nethyy by skeeting the following:

Hey folks, I realize you are all upset about the AoN news but PLEASE do not with the mass-email campaign. Maya is one person receiving hundreds of furious emails. You have made yourselves heard plenty. It is really not fair to direct this anger at one person who had no part in this decision.

This is exactly what you said, there is not really a way to read that other than his life choices are a result of his PTSD.

Our 14 year old rat terrier just passed away. It was peaceful and we knew it was coming. She spent her last days being coddled like the best girl she was. I even carried her outside to lie in the sun because she loved that. I'm heartbroken.

A brown and black rat terrier snuggled up in a colorful towel. She will be missed.

No causality at all. Correlation sure, but from the study itself it could be a form of self medication or dopamine seeking behavior. Your own citation shows that you didn't bother to read the article, much less the study itself.
