(Page 53) #CasualtiesUnknown #Expie #Hopefulness As of today, I have uploaded the comic in full to ComicFury; hopefulness.thecomicseries.com I do plan to continue posting to all three places, being Reddit, Bluesky, and ComicFury!
(Page 51) I experimented a bit with the format and layout of this page. Was quite fun! #CasualtiesUnknown #Expie #Hopefulness
Draw my expie again. This time with a bit more anatomical accuracy! I hoard scrap. Relentlessly. Even when I have no need for it. I want it. #CasualtiesUnknown #Expie
(Pages 49-50) #CasualtiesUnknown #Expie #Hopefulness I realise I never actually said the title of this comic, at least here on Bluesky. It's simply called "Hopefulness".
Running out of phrases for pages. Oh no! (Pages 32-34) #CasualtiesUnknown #Expie
Ey, lookit. Page time. (Pages 26-27) (And yes, I know of the typo on page 27, I am not fixing it.)
Psst. Hey. Hey you. Yeah you. You want some more pages? #CasualtiesUnknown #expie
I started playing Casualties Unknown fairly recently. And man. The game is a real gut punch. Gave me the inspiration to make something a bit more hopeful. If you know. You know. Labelled graphic due to blood.
This still maintains to be the fruitiest thing I've ever drawn. My character for a Strixhaven Campaign, this flamboyant, feathery twat was a divination wizard suffering from gilded cage syndrome. Fun to draw, not sure why I never uploaded him until now.
Turns out 'eventually' was pretty soon after. Somehow putting on a jumpsuit made him look even more fat than before. If that was possible. Making clothes for an Avali is hard. And yes, I am aware of the ever so slight resemblance to Naruto's jacket. I'm not changing it.
Playing No Man's Sky and Space Engineers with @fxwolfxe.bsky.social got me in the mood to redesign my Avali. Again. So, enjoy. He's red now. I'll clothe him, eventually. But for now I return to my slumber.
I've been playing the hell out of ARK (still), all the way up to Genesis Part 1 now. I've been itching to make a proper dinosaur style character, but I also like dragons. So I decided to fuse the two together. And since Sci-fi is a genre I rarely touch, something ARK themed made sence to me.
First doodle for a while. Been playing the hell out of ARK SE: Aberration over the last week, and likewise had the itch to revisit an old Sergal character of mine. I cannot help but torture myself with perspectives. I don't know why I do this to myself.
Gargoyles have been doing the rounds of late, right as the mood for them hit me. So, I made one. Two, technically, since I made one for @fxwolfxe.bsky.social too :> #MarbleMarch
I found the purples to be the most damning. www.keithcirkel.co.uk/whats-my-jnd/
More Roclin shenanigans. Finally decided to make myself a proper character who, naturally, is abnormally huge and also R O U N D. I forgot to give him arm wings, so I'm instead making it a birth defect so he never had them to begin with.
Still trying to figure out how to get around the 'nowhere to upload my worldbuilding shit', and remembered that you can make longer posts by chaining them together. So let's give that a whirl, shall we? ===== When it comes to refining and shaping metals, Roclins do not use -
[CW - Blood] Anyone else have WIP's they're really happy with, but have no intention of ever finishing? I do, and it accounts for about 90% of my drawings folder. Here's one of them
Lil' test sketch I did a few days ago for a Roclin variant. They're the more squat, saurid like cousins of the Roclin's I've shown previously. And, for those even faintly interested, the exerpt about them
