Maybe it’s all the jokes, the vampire movies they’ve been watching and Eddie’s constant innuendos about sucking that make up his mind for him.
Because when he’s making them dinner and cuts his finger while cutting vegetables he doesn’t even hesitate.
He hisses, takes one look at his bleeding finger and makes an instant decision, moving his hand closer to Eddie’s face.

Eddie’s nostrils flare as he stares at Steve’s finger. “...Steve?”

“I’m already bleeding so… why waste it?”
He has no idea yet, but those same words are going to come back soon to bite him in the ass.

Eddie shows up at Steve’s trailer with no recollection of what happened since they left him for dead five years ago. Has Steve been calling him by dreaming of him so often? Did he wish him so hard that it made him come back from the dead?

Eddie’s name was never fully cleared, so they decided it’s best if he hides at Steve’s while they try to figure out what’s going on. But as the days pass and he starts exhibiting weird symptoms, particularly a new and acquired taste for Steve’s blood, the theory that he might be a vampire now is becoming less and less ludicrous by the hour.

And would you look at that?!
It seems it’s just about time for Steve’s period.
